Simple portrait

Decided to have a bit of fun with this Buddha head we have on the shelf. Lighting was SB800 on camera and a slave on the shelf below, with a pretty wide aperture to blow out the background as much as possible. The figurine was only about 15cm away from the white wall.

C&C appreciated.

I would have liked a bit more edge definition on this one but a smaller aperture would have reduced the strength of the back light too much - I couldn't find a happy compromise.

reshot with a polarizing filter...... it should remove the flare around your subject........

Thanks for the suggestion - I will give it a try next time.

only works with shinny or glass objects
