Sitting by the dam - for C&CDon't feel like this one is quite there. Would appreciate any PP suggestions, or should I reshoot on a weekend with better weather?

hi dawesy, i don't know what pp you've used..... if the first was mine i would probably do something with levels or shadow/highlights.
i do think you can use the clouds to your advantage in this shot. cheers pa
i don't know how the original scene looked but here's a quick make over....if you wish this to be removed no problem.
cheers pa ![]()
I should have mentioned what I'd done so far. Aplied curves, upped the saturation and brightness as well as a touch of extra contrast. Not to mention remove the dust bunny.
Can I ask what you did to get your version? Not sure it's to my taste overall, but I like that the colours on the ground are richer. This is the out of camera original. ![]()
i like it, it may be just a personal thing, it makes me think of back in nz on a nice warm afternoon getting ready for an evening of duck shooting, the comradely, friendship. sorry im getting carried away. know a homesick kiwi when u see one?
Canon EOS 40D
Canon EOS 400D 50mm 1.8 EF
