hi all,

i have taken a photographic job with a friend of mine that
we work together for some things last month, from Anakatosaria
(an assosiation that makes a big event in a town in greece).
It is an event that has a different concept every year with some
different happenings that take place 4 days every march.
This years concept is emigration.
We will do many different photographic ideas based on emigration.

concept: a lignite miner, before and after. in young age (working in mine in belgium) and at old age leaving belgium.

photographers: Theodoros Chliapas, Patroklos Skafidas

makeup: Vaggelis Nikopoulos

location: lignite mine

your comments are always appreciated.

thanks a lot,
theodoros

Very nice Theo. I like the way you have captured something in a very unforced way - your direction is spot on.

The orange overalls are quite a strong element in each due to the selective de-sat, which may draw away from their expressions, but I guess that enforces certain points about the topic.

many many thanks all.

Heath you are right. Orange are strong but it is due to the subject.
