Low Light slow lens threw glass shots

Some pics from the Melbourne Aquarium using my Nikon D200 and Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-70mm F/3.5~4.5 G IF-ED ,atm i don’t have any faster, So i have to deal with what i have till i can get myself a Nikon AF AFD 50mm F/1.8 D Lens

But some feedback would be appreciated (aside from saying you need faster lens to do that)

Not sure if some cameras have a metering issue thru the thick glass, I had a shocking result with the Seaworld one up here. Every pic seemed to meter so differently.
