The first one is really very good... great perspective and I love the saturated colour and lines in it.. the second isn't doing as much for me though.. maybe if the sky was cropped a bit... and is it me or does it need a little straightening maybe?

x2. I love #1, but 2 definitely needs some work as Sue has suggested.

Am I right to guess you didn't use a polariser? I like the scenes and composition but think the colours could look better, in particular the sky.

Don't own a polarizer that fits my 12-24 unfortunately.
Yep, on closer inspection I do need to straighten the horizon - thought it was just a perspective thing.
