Hey just completed a run of four weddings, i am stuffed.......

I presume you want C&C on these.

If so..

1. I like the first - exposure looks pretty good.
2. The second looks flat. To me, if you asked the subjects to stand in one of those pools of sunlight, it may pop more.
3. The leaves at top right are a little distracting.
4. Her pose seems a little masculine or unnatural.

I like #1. good use of the reflection.

I think you are too far away in #2, and although it looks to be a nice area, the bride and groom get lost in the background. I would have preferred to see a tighter crop , where you can see the detail in the faces of the 2.

I agree with Reschsmooth about the leaves in #3, but I do like the colours of the overall shot.

Too much dead space in #4 on the left hand side, and the seagull is a bit distracting. I think, I would have preferred to see this shot in a portrait. Once again closer to the subject.

I am sure the brides and grooms will be happy with the end result, as we are only seeing such a small sample of the total sets though.

No.3 is certainly the best one of the lot. It is a more conventional wedding shot, but it will remind the couple of the positive emotions on the day.

And I agree that #3 is the pick of the bunch.

#3 without a doubt.

On #2, yes, the subjects are too far away ... too much foreground (probably related to the subjects being too far away) ... and really, while I like the arrangement with the three trees, I think the couple should be in the gap between either of the pairs of trees, rather than having the middle tree growing from their heads.

whilst i agree for the most part with #2 i think if the subject was in the pools of sunlight her dress probably would blow out to much, thats just my observation. i would have prefered it if they where standing between 2 tress the middle tree seems to distract me to much, other than that i really like the image.

I quite liked the empty green space in #2 - it caught my eye

here's my newbie opinion

Firstly, love the photos.

Couple of picky things... it might just be my screen but could the woman's right shoulder in #1 (camera left) have a bit of burning applied to it in PP just to seperate it from the wall behind her a touch better? The two just seem to blend in with each other a little too much for my eye.

Also definitely agree with Gary on #2 about placing the couple inbetween 2 of the trees, although the shot is nicely balanced with the 3 trees across the back, the first thing that caught my eye was the 'awkwardness' of where the couple are placed in regard to the centre tree
