I've finally gotten around to processing some of the shots I took on our honeymoon around the South Island of NZ. These particular ones are of Lake Tekapo, I took heaps of pics there (how can you not, it's just gorgeous!) but I'm no expert on landscapes... do these work?!

Thanks in advance for your critique!

i like the first second and fourth of these....as for the third if the seat was to one side i feel it would be a better image.

The Lupins in Tekapo are fantastic... while they look amazing though, the local councils treat them as a pest that they are trying to erradicate.
The only thing that I would suggest is that you are working the wide end of the lens too much... the risk in doing this is that unless the foreground is exceptional you risk loosing too much information occuring on the horizon.
Hope you had a great time there though..... I have cycled across that landscape a couple of times and on one occasional I got so windburnt.....lobster on a bike!

Nicely put together landscapes. Nice to see someone using the foreground as an element to be exploited.

lovely shots! I would've loved to see what some of these shots would've looked like if taken at sunrise/sunset.

Hopefully I might be getting over to NZ for a couple of weeks in december......hopefully! :D

Thanks for that Ant, I'm definitely guilty of this. When I look at other photos from the trip this aspect definitely stands out.

And yes I loved NZ, very beautiful country with great people. Can't wait to get back there actually!
