Playing in the park with my 2 1/2 YO Daughter.
Not the sharpest focus but was a bit tricky with the back and forward movement.

Tips on shooting this sort of moving shot would be appreciated.

Cool shot! I'd try a faster shutter speed (can't tell which one was used) - possibly also a wider aperture to blur the background even more. (This will require an even faster shutter speed.) But I really like the rich colours and the subject's expression you've captured.

Cheers.

It was shot Ap 4 (lense limit, and at 1/500 shutter, iso 100. It was not so much the shutter/ap I was having problems with it was the focus on a moving object that is going backwards and forwards instead of sideways.

Thanks again
Bruce

Great shot.

For focus, try a little planning. any one on a swing will pause briefly at the top of the arc. Manually focus on your subject at the top of the arc, then shoot just as the swing comes up the next time..
High speed motor drive will also help. Pick the best of the group.
