shot this a few weeks ago when i was doing a self portrait of myself. was testing exposure and lighting, so had my girlfriend lucy in front of the lens...

hi mate,

I would be tempted to crop the image closer, using her arms as a guide, cropping equal distance down either side. The image suffers from very shallow DOF, the focal point is her face, with her chest and stomach OOF. (not that I was perving :oops: ).

I would also play with the curves, and make the background brighter, which will help bring out detail in her face also.

I like the expression, very natural.

Prefer the original over the PP'd version - now she appears too burnt. Agree with the tighter crop as well.

Nice pose and she is a good looker. It seems a bit soft to me though.

I don't know if your white balance is a bit off or it that is really the colour, but I think this looks a bit more natural to me.

edit: on second thought, I think it may be a bit too magenta now.

hmmm, thats too cold, she has quite tanned skin. plus the shirt is a minty green/white, its kinda turned aqua blue there...

Sorry, I am with PiroStitch. I prefer the first image with a tighter crop, Besides, the other images show (what in my screen appears to be skin blemishes not apparent in the first image).
