this is a lycaste orchid was taken with D70 and 28-75 tamron lens any comment are welcome :wink:

What a gorgeous orchid!.. Its also a lovely image, I think that if you maybe burnt the background in a little more it would make the flower stand out a bit more..

I agree with Bindii. Also, a quick levels adjustment will make it "pop" a bit more but you will have to be careful not to blow out the flower.

It's a nice photo.

But every time I look at it, I see the cartoon character "Yosemite Sam". You know, with the big hat and handlebar moustache. It looks like him with his mouth open.

Obviously I have some deep psychosis! :lol:
