Now that first one is a cracker! I like everything about it.. the contrast of colours of the flower and the insect... and its nice and sharp...

the second two are a little soft for me... but with a first like that it doesnt matter...

#1 is really nice. #2 and #3 are a little too soft for me.

#1 is great - I'm at work on a very very very old monitor, but seems a little dull ???? A slight boost in levels and contrast will help

This is pretty close to the mark too - butterflies taken from the side are the best shots as most of the insect will be in focus.... well done

#2 & 3 - I can see what you were doing, but the oof focus wing in the foreground drags your eye there first -

) about the OOF dominating in the next two... Oh well... I guess there's always next time

Have to agree, #1 is lovely.
I can almost feel how velvety those wings are.

- I just found a spot on the lens :oops:
