This shot looks like it might be a macro shot, but is actually taken with an AF-S 300mm f/2.8 + 1.7x teleconverter (!) at about the near focusing limit of 2.2m



Unfortunately this only fuels my completely irrational desire for a long prime Fastest focusing lens I've used, and pretty much the sharpest too.
