I would not have had it looking down the barrel of the lens but would have been looking down the barrel of a 12 gauge shotgun as the only good 1 is a dead 1.

Great shots Mark,
really like the last one. It really show the nice colouring and patterns on the python. For the first one, I would probably have liked a bit more DOF, still a great capture with it's tongue out.

love #3, IMO the forst 2 would look nicer with a little more DOF but it depends on what you where after.
Beautiful looking carpet too, would love to have a few of these in my backyard and at 1.8m it is just a teenager
