Still only using the onboard flash atm.

Due to size limitations for the site i couldn't show all the gecko or at full size obviously, but it came out really good at full size, was very happy with it and think im progressing in the right direction :) . the light was a bit harsh (poor little bugger will be blind for a week  )

Heres a cropped pic of it.

This spider was tiny, and wouldn't stop and pose for me

f11, ISO 200, 1/160 exposure
Tamron macro 90mm lens

I did quite a few different shots, was just messing around with it for something different :).

Yes I like the fire shot too. The gecko is cute and I would like to see the whole picture. There's a pretty harsh shadow from the flash on the spider but you did well to get it reasonably sharp if it was moving.

Yeah the shadow sucks. but flash arrived finally yesterday so i'll play with that and hopefully eliminate those harsh shadows in time :)

heres the whole gecko, I know its a bit bigger than normally allowed but i hope the mods will be nice for this one :P

its resized about 50%

I like the fire shot. There is no sense of scale in this one which makes it more of an interesting image.
