This guy is just outside my back door. (100mm macro spot metered)




Does the B&W work for these?

Yes.. but I'm good at it...

and thats much better.. it looks a lot better in colour than in the mono...

Lucky you didn't title the post "BIG BLACK" Cocky

Yes the black cockys are a good looking bird & colour suits them better which is pretty strange considering they are black, probably because you can see the detail in their feathers better in colour

I think they have finnished off the fruit in the Hakea but they are still up in the pines.
I will be interested to see the reach and quality of pics from the new lens.
