I'm sure this has been done to death but I thought it was a great angle.

Ladybird - I like the idea of these two shots and had it been a better day weather wise, they would have had a greater impact. The haze and grey skies you do not have any control over obviously as you get what you get when you travel. However, you could make a slight adjustment to the pic in curves or levels to help give it slightly more punch. The horizons in both of the shots keep drawing me to them, I cant work out if they are just slightly crooked or there is a bit of an optical illusion going on - maybe if you had a little play with them to see if by adjusting them slightly it improves the pic. I do like the framing and well done for spotting that opportunity.

Thanks Big V, I'll have another look at them and see what I can do.

Definitely an improvement with the increased contrast, LB. I'd be tempted though to mask out the curves or levels adjustment so that it only affects the background area. Too much contrast in the foreground foilage spoils the overall balance, IMHO. If you didn't do it on a separate adjustment layer (which adds it own mask for you to use) you can just use the history brush to paint back in a previous history state.

Ladybird, really think the second two are a great improvement and great images from a well used spot
