Finally got the chance to go for an early morning stroll yesterday and snapped a couple of keepers....

Thoughts/comments appreciated.

Nice work Dave, Melbourne looks great in these photos

Number 4 looks a bit washed out to me, but I really like 1-3. Number one in particular
has an excellent quality to the light, great stuff.

The first two are great. The first looks almost as if it is two halves of different images. Really cool..

The second one shows me how it is possible to make Fed Square look nice. You have succeeded in the nearly impossible

All excellent but #2 really smacks. It has impact. Nice work!

Thanks for your comments everyone. I took a few of Fed Square from the other side and when I decided to move on, I almost didn't take any photos from this side (shown in image 2)....but I'm glad I did as they were easily the best of the bunch....

No. 1 (of the Yarra) was taken straight after. I must have been having a few good minutes
I can only take credit for taking the photo....not the wonderful lighting that was setup for me.

I wish I had a new lens.

I really want to get a Sigma 10-20, but at this point in time I have to keep making do with my trusty old 18-70 kit lens (which all four images above were taken with).
