I was hoping to give my new lens, Siggy 10-20 - thanks Rooz, a bit of a try out this long weekend but with family commitments and lousy weather today I only managed a short play. Not the best lens for portraits but never the less I quite liked how this one turned out.

Geoff,

I like it.

Perhaps consider cropping this square? Remove some of the bottom of the image, and see what you think.

I agree with cropping some off the bottom, but not a square crop, I think that would remove too much of the vignetting which will leave the photo a bit flat.

This looks really good Geoff! I think it can loose a little from the bottom, but not too much!

Well done and congrats on the new acquisition!

Love the effect.. The image looks good the way it is.. you could clone out that liquid spill on the lower half..

I have tried several crops including a square, but prefer the image myself as presented with the space arond the subject.

I think this composition works because of how the face is angled. It's very interesting and i hope to replicate it sometime ;)

And that is what matters: your PoV.
