Shot a few days ago.......

I was about 1 1/2 meters away and at 2.8 not a lot of DOF being this close. When the birds are this close you only get a few seconds to shoot..... full frame image, hand held, D300 Sigma 300 2.8 prime 1000th@ 2.8

Just tone down the Reds a little on that BP and I think you have a winner.

I'm really impressed with the image quality from a big sigma lens. I was using a 120-300 f2.8 over the weekend and was really happy with it! It will be my next lens purchase for sure!
