Composition, colours and patterns in the 2nd are really great. I'm wanting the ship to be a little sharper though; seems a bit soft in the larger version. I see it was an 8s exposure, so I guess you used a tripod.

The softness comes from that fact that its on the sea so the ship is moving. That and the fact I only have a kit 75 - 300mm Lense for the longer shots. I'm sure that didn't help much.

I love number two in particular Nigell - it looks like a watercolour painting to me! I think that the
slight softness actually works very well.

I was thinking the same thing, it does looks more like a painting than a photograph.

Love the watercolor look on the 2nd!
