Curtis Falls

Here are a few from yesterday morning - Curtis Falls, Mt. Tamborine. All taken with the Sigma 10-20.

Can't seem to get the tones correct in the last, the water being too blue!

its pictures like that that make me want a wide angle lens :roll: , I really like the first and the third, you are right about the blue tones of the third...

I really like the position of that log and the 'tea' coloured water in the foreground, looks like a nice spot.

It was really hard work getting the log in the right position, It was very heavy! :lol:

The 'tea' coloured water is due to the very red soil in this area.

Great shots!

One solution for the blueness is to create an adjustment layer of saturation/hue and reduce the blues only and use a mask for the rest of the image..

That would be the hard way.

I'd just get the wb right. :)

You're shooting in a shaded area (or with cloud cover) probably with wb on either auto or sunlight, which is not really what you need.
