Drag racing - beginnings and endings

Some of the shots I liked for various reasons from launch shots to shots in the braking area.

Vibrant pink, well no not really it wasn't the main point, this car was literally twisting the tyre off the rim on every launch!

Top Fuel launch, not often you get them lift the front wheels so far.

Love seeing the cars braking, specially with chutes deployed. Victor in the background had a huge oil down, thus the smoke, Sean in the front just lost his bonnet...

Lighting was really good for this, specially as some bright spark built the track east to west so the afternoon sun really helps us with these sorst of shots.

I also really like the ways the teams stand behind the launch in the top teams...

That first shot with the tyre deformation is truly a great catch. Well Done!! So sharp.

Like the one of Misfud's Willy's as it is amazing that the rest of the front clip just didn't peel away - good catch

I have a couple of bits flying off of it, but they'd have to go to 100% crops to get a decent look... Certainly looked the wild willy part coming across the finish line :)

And thanks all I really enjoyed the weekend working, the other guys were a great bunch of guys to work with!

I think there is still room to improve on some shots, and the key I think is getting a mix of differing angles from the start line and down the track. Night work is just insane trying to get right and my hats off to those that do!
