This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Hi Dimitra
Great lighting, and I love the pose on the model.
There is some excellent contrasts between the model and the surroundings.
One thing I cannot put my finger on is that I seem a little distracted looking at this image, I am not sure if it is the busyness of the surroundings and I am trying to take everything in, or perhaps I would like a tighter crop on the model as she is quite alluring.
Not sure if this is something you have thought of, or maybe I am trying to look for things to critique.
Either way you have nailed the lighting and certainly drawn me into the image, for this I think it is a cracker, well done.

I too get that Indigoreef. Seems that there is a lot going on in the photo - the messy floor, the peeling paint, books and magazines etc. it kinda draws your eye away from the model a bit. I understand why it was done but IMHO it distracts a little from the model. Maybe in B&W or sepia it wouldn't be as distracting?

I love the lighting, looks very natural. the eye contacts does well to arract from the set, I like the grunge, and the contrast of her skin and white dress against the dirt and flaky paint etc.

very nice. love to see more from the shoot.
