Well I had a great day of shooting yesterday morning with a friend.

Initially I had an idea in mind of what I wanted to create and certain location of where I wanted it staged, but due to outside factors I threw up my hands and left the look and location to my friend.
In other words going in blind with no plan in mind and making do on the 'spontaneity' of the day.

As with the previous portrait shoot, again I kept the equipment to a bare minimum. A couple of cameras and 3 lenses (70-200, 17-55 and 16-35), and thats all. No special lighting equipment or modifiers.

These are great mate, I really like them.

I could be wrong (and it could be my eyes?) but the first one looks like the softening effect on her face may have been applied slightly over her left eye as well? the right eye looks a little sharper, do you think? Otherwise I love this one reminds me of a fashion advert I once saw (can not remember the brand though?)

The second one looks good but the oval on the tram behind her head is a little distracting in my mind. Also a great big laughing smile would have worked well in this shot I think?

The third does not do too much for me, too much nostril I like the composition but maybe just slightly to low?

What a shame the pipe is there in the 4th!!! the floor on this one is awesome, I like the pose, but the pipe....

You are the ultimate professional. Your design is of 1st class degree. Everything about your portifolio is of the highest standard and is to be admired. These images and your imaging style leave a lot of envy. Congrats on a truly professional approach to ones own desire to promote and achieve.

Andrew: As for the distractions....well now that you pointed them out, yeah now they're distracting Good eyes. Might have to visit them and get rid of those, although I can't believe I totally miss the pipe coming behind her, ugh! Such an unforgivable mistake!! Thanks for the critique mate, appreciate it.

hi ronald great work i like the feeling in all shots
but the 1st two work best it's natural capturted perfectly

how did you get to shoot at carriage works, everytime i shoot there security guards chase me away

Wendellt: Thanks pal. Well we just rocked up there. Ummm I don't know if its because we kept a low profile and didn't have gear with us that screamed "Photo Shoot" but we did have security personnel pass us by throughout the 2.5 hour shoot and one even walked passed us, smiled and said hi. Yeah so maybe we just go lucky?
