Theme 1: ... communication. I had another one, but I realised I took it about 6 hours to early to qualify


Theme 2: ... flower - there is only one


Theme 3: ... culture - Viti-culture specifically


Theme 4: ... natural pattern. This is the one that delayed me. I Waited for the rain to stop.

I'm trying to work out the lighting on your natural pattern pic. The background is essentially black, because without the flash, the pic would have been massively under exposed...? Is that it, or is there a nicely placed backdrop there?!

Lighting used flash (2xSB800 + PopUp) to overpower the daylight in the background. The flashes were 50 - 100mm from the subject. No backdrop. There is actually a pond in the background ( and a wall behind the camera). That made it difficult to set up the shot, hence the slightly awkward angle.
