Hi guys
Here are five Rainbow Lorikeet pics that I took on morning in rock Hampton a few weeks back
I am wondering what works and what is wrong with each shot
they all look over exposed now, and they are obviously cropped (can only fit the camera body, the 17-85 and the 50mm in the brief case with the overnight pair of jocks and socks)
Being on a bridge at gum tree height was good though.

to me the first four are a bit busy....on my screen they look a little dull, maybe lacking saturation

Also i'd try and separate the lorikeets from the background. There are a few ways to do it, but that and the saturation are probably the two things that would make these photos nicer

Time of day and light quality and fill flash are suggestions, as well as lens choice you indicted yourself. First image is my pick of those posted.
