Funny combination? yes, but thats Narrabri for those who know it!

I was a guest at this wedding and I have to say, wedding photography looks like a real lot of hard work.

I would love a little feedback on this first two pictures, I have never seriously taken a picture at a wedding with the intention of trying to make it look like a "wedding' picture so this is a first for me - I have a few others from the the day that i think are ok, but thats for another time :D

The second picture is probably 6 months too late, I remember the Coffee challenge when I first turned up to the forum, I would have loved to have a crack....comments welcome - lines the wrong way? cup handle wrong side?

The final two are more interest shots than anything else, The radio telescope is a sight to see.....sheep roaming the paddocks and these large funny dishes on rails....(note the dish profiles are accurate to within 0.1mm apparrently). The final one is of some strange geological formations nearby, called Sawn Rocks....this picture a 3 images stitched at 18mm each, this may give an idea of the size....

Do I know Narrabri? Sure do, my second wife was from Boggabri :)

I’m not normally a fan of odd angle pics but I do like the intimacy of pic 1.

The coffee shot works for me (as I head to coffee machine for a short buzz)

Searching the heavens with sheep grazing is so chalk and cheese.

I like the shot of the Sawn Rocks - any idea on the what the rocks may be? I’m assuming basalt. . .

And finally a shot of moi in good old Narrabri :D

I do now! I went to school in armidale so I am quite familiar with the New England Tablelands, however this was my first decent visit to Narrabri. I have to say I really like it there, probably a little warm for my liking in summer but...

I love the names of the places up there...Coonabarabran followed by Boggabri, Narrabri and off to the side, Gunnedan and Barraba :D

probably very cliche, I was trying for that very typical wedding shot that people have on their walls!

cups brought in Narrabri

correct, everything of any size on/around the tablelands is Basalt....

must have been in spring also? way too green for winter or the end of summer!
