The white lower lip is seriously distracting to me; it is less obvious in the b & w version so I go for that one.
I'm not a portrait photographer, so my opinion is purely personal preference.

Her makeup seems to be caked on and I find that unpleasant.

Hard to decide but I would still go for the warmer... Ideal would the cooler one with a touch of warmth...

#2, the black and white works better IMHO.

I agree with what Matt said, the lower lip (to me) looks way overdone.
Also, on HER right jaw line u can see fur! Eeew.
Sorry Dan, not some of your best work here. Good question though, what's this for?

Hey guys...

First up i NEVER change the shape of a models jawline in PP...some things need to remain true i believe....secondly its just a portfolio shot.

Thanks guys for the advice :)

OK, in that case I'm not a huge fan of either. (Much as I like most of your work.)

i like the 2nd one less intrusive
but instead of the blue sepia it woudl be fine just black and white either way the lip is too bright thats just makeup and the light angle

and as a word of advice for future portfolio shoots, agents like photos with minimal makeup for portfolio's because the model's natural look has to be seen
its hard when casting models from their pics if they have alot of creative makeup on

creative makeup pics are really a benefit to the makeup artist and photographer not so much the model

i normally like the radical makeup shots you post. i also really find the pensive pose nice aswell.
however, i agree with the others that the bottom lip is a little too distracting.

Sorry i should have clarified it was a shot for both the MUA and me...not the model :)

Cheers

im not sure which is nicer personally, but i do agree the bottom lip is taking me away from the overall image for both of them.
