Lovely morning although it seems insanely early....

Big pics how do you find the 30 1.4? A worthy addition?

...... and the 30mm 1.4 is a very good DX lens, very very sharp and a good walk about lens. I am slowly moving away from zooms and shooting with primes for much better results. But I had a play with the 14-24 Nikon zoom on a D3 while away and what a surprise packet that lens can be

Great colours. On my monitor it looks like there is a bit of grain but that adds to the image.

BP, I think the 14-24 and D3 is in a different league to teh D300 and 30 1.4.. And they should be for the price.

The 30 1.4 interests me.

While I am not crazy about the two trees sticking out in the middle of the image, that's just nicpicking.. Great stuff
