i like this series. the last one really does it for me though, so simple yet it conveys the mood of the theme perfectly.
imo, the lack of any sign of life in the first few loses that mood.

My favourite is the last too, seems like some challenging shooting conditions with the bright / harsh light outside and the relatively dark interiors. I've just been watching a show that deals with the spanish flu so this was timely reminder of the facilities available to treat the infected.

I like the last one too.
If they are trying to set this place up as a museum (frozen in time) they need to pay more attention to detail:
I very much doubt they had those light bulbs in the 80s much less the '50s (Photo #1)

Here i was thinking i was looking back in time and then you draw my eye to the lightbulb in #1. Haha. Still, looks like a good place to get some old looking photos, providing you keep the "green" bulbs out of frame.

I don't care about the lightbulb, these are atmospheric shots, beautifully exposed,
enigmatic and bleak. Great work Peter.

Thanks for your interesting feedback. I must confess I never noticed the light until it was pointed out. Even now it doesn't bother me. What appeals to me in these images is the subtle tonality and the odd collection of objects. The last image is a particular conundrum since at first I flagged it as an unknown (first pass in my import cycle I flag rejects then delete them and "stars" for immediate PP - this shot was neither) Usually I never go back to the unflagged shots, but for some reason I revisited this one and now quite like it.
