Just a dog...Just a couple of photos of my border collie Shadow doing what she does best. Taken with the Sigma 120-300, she's a hard dog to track when she gets moving!

Re: Just a dog...The detail in the face of the second one is superb. Good eye contact, too.
Re: Just a dog...Excellent images- both. You managed to capture the fun and cleverness of the animal. Not that Shadow would ever thinks himself of nothing else but a person.
It brought memories of my dear Rex, also a border collie. Rex had such a wonderful an vibrant personality. Whenever I tooke him for a walk and sombody would stop me to say what a beautiful dog he was Rex would look at me then at the person talking to me then he would wag his tail and woolf-woolf happily saying to the person in his canine way "...yes, he is not but looking... wooolf!"

Re: Just a dog...Great shot Brett, both are really nice. Your panning experience with cars were probably put to the test trying to track your border collie
![]() My only nit on the first one is the blown highlights on the slide, otherwise it's hard to pick a favourite. cheers, André Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution. Ansel Adams

Re: Just a dog...Thanks all, yes the slide is annoying and there is no real way to crop it out unless I try a clone job, which I won't.
You appreciate how quick they really are at changing direction when you try and get them having fun. Much harder than cars ![]()
