Great shots, I like the mood they create

Possibly something a bit funny about his pose (in particular the positioning of his legs) in the first shot ?

nice variety across the shots, I would prefer to see harsher lighting with a subject like this. bare bulb to sharpen the edges, and give cutting edges to his shape and definition. some blur (either PP or DOF) particularly on the last one lower right corner, is too much for my eyes, "sharper" is the word in my head.

like the images a lot, but gut feel says get away from soft lady lights

MOST were actually shot with a beauty dish....so quite harsh lighting and very contrasty (such a word) .... but thanks for your input

These look like they are taken from the Calvin Klein add, I guess that's the look you went for.

2nd shot is fantastic - I can imagine it used in the gym or one of the mens/bodybuilding mags

There's something about the last shot that is really bothering me - I think it is because his face looks 'muddy' in this shot ?? Don't know, can't put my finger on it

I like the first three for various reasons, mainly style and composition. I feel the model faces a bit artiphicial and the KKs too white in the last one, but again these are commercial shots so may be that's what your client wants.
