small mantis, (4-5mm), this is how i found him hidden deep in the bushes.

Great shots. The third is my pick though i might desaturate the background so the mantis stands out a litttle more. A brilliant shot.

love #3. i think the DOF is a little shallow on #2, though given the size of the beast, pretty well done
