Hey guys,

After many attempts on the same image i think i finally got something that is not complete and udder crap...

Let me know what you think, i`ll put the original up as well so people can tell me where i went wrong.

Hey Jay... I'd suggest you give folks a little more information about the processing steps you used so we have more to go on. On first glance I'd suggest that you need to consider bringing back clarity in the eyes and possible a little less blurring of the hair. Always important that the eyes are sharp and clear. I'm guessing that you used some guassian blur across the whole image?

Sorry, didn't even think of letting you guys know what i had done.

I had manually added in the make up. cleared up some of the skin and cleaned up under the eyes.

I put a Gaussian blur over the whole image at the end but the eye colour and hair colour was untouched (Not sure how to modify that yet).

Not bad for a first attempt!...Try this method, open original image and hit CONTROL + J to make a copy. Go to filter/OTHER/HIGHPASS and chose about 12
Go to filter/BLUR/GAUSSIAN BLUR and add about 4
Go to IMAGE/ADJUSTMENTS/DESATURATE and desaturate the image
Go to IMAGE/ADJUSTMENTS/INVERT and invert the image
Go to the LAYERS PALETTE (F7 is a shortcut) AND CHANGE THE BLENDING MODE TO SOFT LIGHT, adjust the opacity to suit. Use the eraser tool to rub back thru the eyes, hair jewelry etc.
