I'm finally working my way through the Pyrmont/Anzac bridge shots from last weekend and these 3 seemed best as black and whites. Each is quite a different shot, so I'd be interested in your views in if they work as b & Ws. All were processed using Nik Silver Efex Pro.

3 good B&W images..... the 3rd image is just fantastic.....

#3 looks awesome!

They are 3 great images Peter! The last is exceptional, I spent so long trying get all that in 17mm, the use of the fisheye there was a perfect choice, that also has to be the closest to symmetry as your gonna get from that bridge position!

The more I look at #3 the more I like it, the composition of the image reminds me of a insect (bear with me here!) the plyons are the body and the cables the wings - that image would look awesome as a desktop background!

Whilst the second image may look simple and plain enough, to look at that building and compose those lines is quite an achievement in my opinion, I just walked by that one was there any distortion correct on this one?

In terms of BW conversions, I think they all work well, however I would be interested in seeing that third one as a colour version, in particular with a nice blue sky...?!

Very nice work... I have to admit that #3 is absolutely stunning!

Love #3 the perspectives are amazing, it took me a second to work them out!

Great job - love #3 but would you be able the color shot so I can work out where/what it is

All great Peter, #2 has a real sixties feel to it. Love them all.

I think the first one might even work better in sepia; while the last one would be more interesting in colour. The second in an interesting study in human made pattern so it is goos as is.

Go the fish eye shot. Love that bridge effort Peter.

Going with the flow...................the 3rd one is very nice. Its like your looking down on earth from the international space station. ( hmmm, maybe I should stay away from the cookies)

The first and the last are appealing but I find the second one a bit boring and clichéd, even though it is good in B&W.

Thanks for all the comments. I've yet to choose the colour images (I have maybe 30 different fisheye images with different angles), but here is #3 in colour immediately prior to the B & W conversion. Note that it's not necessarily my final colour PP on the image since I'm a perfectionist and this was done to make a good B & W rather than a good colour image.

I'm still not sure if I prefer the B & W or the colour although I'm leaning toards the b & W as being starker and a little more compelling.

Gerry - that one is as composed - taken with my 28-70 f2.8.

Craig - I see space station in this one too hence the caption I used on the B & W.
