I finally got the chance to photograph something old school!
This car is immaculate and 600HP is a nice touch as well!

Your technique is perfect. However I would clean up some of those white spots on the asphalt.

The white spots are seagull poo. Lots and LOTS of poo!

I agree with Cameron.

#1 is my favourite as it's got alot of detail and character. However I am impartial to the bridge growing out of the back though. I think the car itself is interesting enough. Perhaps a different color to the bridge to seperate it from the car?

Watch the headlights as well. One seems a little darker; Easily fixed though.

Hey Adam, do you have a boom - LED light - softbox to light the car at the top?
Do you have a gridded softbox?
Do you ever try with the headlights on?

I'll give something like that a try.
For the most part all the shots I do like this are untouched.
I should experience more in post.

I don't use a boom. I'm a little over 6' so I've been able to just reach over the top of the cars.

My softbox is just a single diffused box. I've seen grids, but I'm unsure of exactly what they do.

I've tried a few with the head lights on. The light tends to be pretty overwhelming.

Fair enough. I do know that it's pretty hard to get even exposure unless you are very methodical in your painting route.
