Well, It was bloody cold and windy....but the light was beautiful and it got us out of the house. Always a good thing. Pity more members couldn't have made it, but there's always next time. Some pics from the day...

Thanks for asking.

The original post to organise this was under the heading of "Meet, greet, shoot and eat.". It's also on the front (portal) page in the calendar section, where it will stay for another day or three, until I get around to updating the front page.

As a newbie, what is expected of members attending?

Nothing much in terms of expectation: bring yourself (+ partner, kids, dog, whatever), camera(s), a sense of humour, and be prepared to have a good time.

I am sorry I missed this event (in both senses of the word). I had the worng week in my head, and by the time I saw the reminder it was too late for the 2 hour drive down. Not to mention the fact that I had already started cooking dinner - a task I would have preferred to have gotten out of. Sigh.
