Two the same colour and B/W
Horizon levelled.

I don't think the horizon is quite horizontal, but that's is a minor point for such beautiful pictures.

Great pic! I prefer the B&W image...lots of drama. The composition is just perfect!

Mungo is a great place and you have captured the eeriness perfectly.
Last time I was there I was still on film. Note to self: Go back soon.

I agree with Matt. The B/W is best. Only thing I am not sure of is that rocket taking off in the background.

I like the BW, it simplifies the composition, but the colour one really makes the ground jump out at me.

Thanks for the comments, yes well worth seeing. I like to go back there at a different time of year when its a bit cooler. It was about 32deg a bit hot from Canberra from wearing a jumper.

You can only go on the wall with a guide now and the roads in are all dirt and no petrol there. The road from Mildura is the best about 1 1/2 hours whereas from Balranald is rough and slow just under 3 hours, that in a 2 wheel drive vehicle.

I've driven past the turnoff near Balranald many times, but have never had the time to go and see Mungo. Maybe should put it on my to-do list. Great photo and the little strike of light completes the photo.
