If the third of these is anything to go by, it clearly wasn't the Space Needle.

So we did a bit of research and found the Sky View Observatory Columbia Center, so this building is 74 floors high and built on the hill in Downtown Seattle. Its on 4th ave between Cherry and Columbia, on the 73 floor they have build a tourist observation floor with 360 degree views, at a much cheaper price then the space needle. The awesome thing is tripods are welcome, you buy a ticket (cheaper if your a student, which you don't have to prove if you get the friendly ticket collector we had) the ticket is good for 24hrs, so you can keep coming back at different times of day. So we visited twice to get daylight then sunset into dusk. Building is also setup with cafes, and bar and obviously a starbucks in the lobby too!
We were both really impressed by the setup, there are seats and lounges and toilets up there plus information on landmarks.
