Posted: Sun Apr 27, 2025 12:11 pmIt is the aboriginal name for Barron Falls. They were named after Thomas Henry Bowman Barron, the Chief Clerk of Police in Brisbane in the 1860s. The falls are created by the Barron River descending from the Atherton Tablelands to the Cairns coastal plain.
