Korean Barbeque
Korean barbecue is a popular method of grilling meat, typically beef, pork or chicken. Such dishes are often cooked on gas or charcoal grills which are built into the dining table itself. Some restaurants provide portable stoves for diners to use at their tables. The picture, taken in Jeju Island (South Korea), shows slices of pork with bean sprouts and kimchi, made with salted and fermented vegetables (often cabbage) and seasonings like (Korean chili powder), spring onions, garlic, and ginger. It is very much a social affair and it is customary for people to cook for each other.
