A Walk on Anhingas Trail

Rich found this pic in my library of pics from my journeys in the states. He suggested I post this pic from my trip to the Everglades in Florida. The bird is an Anhingas. They dive underwater to catch fish. Contrary to other waterfowl, the Anhingas doesnt' have a coating of oil on their feathers. After every dive they must sun themselves dry in order to fly again. They will stay in a wings outstretched position till they are fully dry or till a gator gets to close for comfort. Comments/critiques welcome.
