I would like to have seen more pronounced circular bokeh
Try taking a picture at the top terrace at Bel Mondo or the Glenmore bars at The Rocks, sydney
The terrace level at the Glenmore has an amazing cityscape and harbour view with the added benefit of 1 hallogen spotlight embeded into the ground so you get beautiful contrast of facial features.
The' Bel Mondo' bar has one of the the best coloured varied subtle mood lighting systems in sydney
with a 17-55DX you are one of the luckiest men in the world

I agree with Gerard, saturation could be dropped down a few notches, along with a little less contrast. Sharpness is fine, I think.

It is a ve. I would have also played a little more with the position of lovely Bel. Perspective is attractive, perhaps brought her more into the frame. The truncated ear and left side bothers me a little and distracts, for me anyway. I also would have played with the exposure comp and dialled in varying minus amounts to just make the fill a little more natural and let the natural beauty come on through. It is a very sharp lens and I'm envious. Great effort though!
