Few recent images. Personally I liked them due to simplicity, simplicity and simplicity. Minimal post work. Any comments and impresions are welcome :)

Krystian

These are all excellent and have much stronger appeal for me than your architectural shots.

Nature is the finest architect. I only released a shutter :)

I particularly liked the third image. The abstract quality of the photo appealed to me. The strong directional lines of the veins wihin the shapes of the leaf are quite lovely and I also liked the contrast of the shadow. A nice balance.

Krystian a nice collection of shots. By far my favourites are #1 and #3 and I think it's mainly due to the abstract nature (excuse the pun) captured in both. I'm not sure but it might also have to do with the subject filling the entire frame which #1 and #3 both have in common.

Excellent composition on 1 and 3 and the use of a dark background to isolate the main subject.
Individually I think the weakest one is the ferns where is too much going on, but in the set adds a nice contrast to the minimalism of the others
Krystian looks like the light is natural but the background is dark, may i ask how you achieved this?
Very thoughtful and well planned out photography

Alpha_7,

Or maybe because of different light character. Notice that both images show subject as it would lay on lightbox. Plus both of them are kind of close up, at least much more then others. We can see leaves structure. That differes them form other images, where there is more space. Together it creates interesting illumination :)

Wendellt,

Thanks. Black background is effect of strong contrast. Plants are directly illuminated by the Sun where as background sits in deep shadow. Difference is at least few serious stops. On top of that add low camera dynamic range and then something must be placed out of it, which in this case is bakcground :)

If you will take carefull look at the last images, you will see, on the right, hint of a hedge behind.
