Got a thin skin? Then look elsewhere. Post a link to an image that you've made, and invite others to offer their critiques. Honesty is encouraged, but please be positive in your constructive criticism. Flaming and just plain nastiness will not be tolerated. Please note that this is not an area for you to showcase your images, nor is this a place for you to show-off where you have been. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Typically, no more than about four images should be posted in any one post or thread, and the maximum size of any side of any image should not exceed 950 px.

Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Decided to give a sunset shot a go tonight.... wasn't really thrilled with the results, but here are a few that I don't hate, anyway....
Any and all comments/criticisms welcome.
No PP on these except for resize for web (and copyright added).

(this was taken from the shelter of my garage once I got home... and yes, I should have gone inside and got my tripod...)
These images are now on flickr, so I am hoping they are now working/viewable.
Otherwise, the blog remains at: http://digitalcyanide.blogspot.com/

Rae - all I can see is a 'red cross in a box'

When people ask what equipment I use - I tell them my eyes.

Rae, make sure you haven't saved as CMYK or 16 bit...

Try re-uploading them without a space in the name.
I don't see why it should make a difference, but it can happen.

G'day Rae,
I just copy n' paste the URLs and get 'em OK in the other window...
This one really caught my eye... Love the glowing moon image with the clouds in http://www.flickr.com/photos/82359236@N00/46752867/

Thanks, Mudder.... gotta love that Seoul pollution - takes the bite off the sun when it gets that low....
Just to clarify - do you mean that you can't see the images until you cut-and-paste the URL to another window? The cursed-red-box affliction again?

G'day,
When I honk on the URL posted in my reply, it opens another window (as a form of pop-up) which works well for me anyway as I've added this site to the list of sites that can call popups in IE security settings etc... I just used the URL tags... no red X's... as in [url]http:yada yada yada[/url]
