Bunch of fake hands in a display case at a nail place in Darling Harbour which I would have missed completely except Gerard (glamy) pointed it out to me!

Thanks Wendell. Single, on board flash (and yes they're fake) see above.

Peter
it looks like the hands are stacked on top of each other and not supported by the tabletop below. There is some movement blur and ghost images of harsh edges either this is an elaborate setup or it's a multiple exposure shot with several pre-flashes while the camera moved
perplexing.

Wendell I'm not that clever. They're in a small glass display case sitting on top of each other. I added the vignette blur around the edges so the case was less obvious.
While I'm at it, here's another odd one from me. This was a concept shot for the last comp, but I didn't have the time to work on getting the shot right.

Great stuff, Peter!
I am, however, a little concerned about the second shot. Can't a guy strike a provocative pose in a public place without being accosted by gay spirits? (Not that there's anything wrong with that...)

Thank you gentleman. The "spirits" image would have been quite interesting to get right, but time just got away from me.
Gay? Simon. I was hoping they'd be scary looking

eg I have my hands around the subject's throat.

WoW Stubbsy,
Are they all your Ex Wives Arms
If you had some legs in there you could have titled it Taken For An Arm & A Leg
Very imaginative, well done.
Mic.

No ex wives - single chappy and happy. Maybe I should have smashed the case and stuck a leg in!

Some good ideas here Peter... this is the kind of stuff I like... bugger the neat and in the middle, rule of thirds, and sharp as a razor kind of thing... these kind of images play more to the emotion and have more interest to me... though not sure about those gay ghosts
