New friend Nikhila and I took her python to Toowong mid-last week for a quiet shoot at about 11pm and found that even with just the SB600 out in the open we managed to have sufficient light and fell over in the dark (post flash) only once. *chuckles*

As much as possible I try to shoot there simply to make use of the privacy and the great stonework and old rusted cast iron fittings without actually getting obvious gravestones in my images.

Will post up a shot of her baby python later. ;)

Camera: NIKON CORPORATION - NIKON D70

some really good ideas there, plus nice pose.
a few things i would suggest,

-some hair light from behind her left hand and hair is a bit hidden.
-right arm shadow need some fill to disappear
-would like it in b/w ?

keep it up

Thanks Redline, I'd really like to reshoot with a SB800 AND my SB600 so I can get some fill for her arm pit and light her hair up some more.

If I had to keep working with just the one flash I'd probably get another tripod to mount more reflectors on the opposite side to even out the lighting a bit.

Nearly bought another tripod for the reflectors yesterday but figured food was a priority. (only cause the other half was in the car too) hehe

I dont mind it in BW but havent uploaded that version from home yet. (stuck at work at the moment)

Great stuff,

Bring on the Gothic & the Python I say, I'd like to see more Cemetry ones & sexy Gothic Poses please.

Nice friend you have there to go out to a grave site at close to midnight

Just be carefull out there with such a nice looking girl in these uncertain times.

A WolfMan or Dracula might just jump up out of the grave and scare the living suitcases out of ya.

Well done.

Mic.

LOL, most people mistake me for the wolfman or dracula!
She's a very capable sword fighter anyway ;) Might get her to do some medieval stuff soon :D
