If you work in Photoshop you could duplicate the pic as another layer work on lightening up the Queen and then combine the layers with a bit of opacity manipulation and blending to make her stand out just a tad more

Posted: Fri Nov 19, 2004 10:26 pmtis cool! I tried that.. however didn't like the effect as she seemed a bit too bright for the weather conditions and a little greener. I somewhat like darker fotos 
I have a bright flatscreen CRT monitor.
current settings for viewing fotos are 99% contrast and 36% brightness. I gathered these settings from watching movies where widescreen the black is still black while maintaining a good brightness. This rule has also worked with fotos for me..
If I boost the brightness to 50% the Queen looks fairly bright with significant detail so I'm also worried if i make it brighter on some levels she'll seem overdone. Just my worries of the night

Posted: Fri Nov 19, 2004 10:44 pmno such option. tis an older mitsubishi diamond view monitor true flatscreen with a sony tube. Still very good clarity and sharpness and digital. pretty manual option settings thought I think contrast @99 and brightness @50 is central. 50 is too bright actually.. but who knows?
