NIKON replaced my CCD !?

i was in to Nikon here in vancouver Canada for my free for first time sensor cleaning..had some dust bunnies on it....

but when it was in the shop, they found that my CCD was scratched (i guess factory defect)....it was definately not visible on my photos but they said there was two long find scratches on it......

so they replaced the entire CCD...
:shock:
im goin to pic it up now....

Is the first service free in Vancouver too?

If so, that's pretty good..

Although, maybe they accidently did the scratching :)

Make sure it was right! and it'll be right with you in the future!
How can it got scratched? very strange IMHO :roll:
But now you have the new replaced CCD :D
I'm :D :shock: too.
