John - the first thing I would like to say is ”I’m jealous” - not of the lens, but of the view from your abode.

John... if you ever saw a 4.3m White Tinny with an electric motor up the front.. and a 40hp Yamaha motor on the back.. side console with fully carpetted floors and MinnKota/Humminbird Stickers down the side... it would probably have been me... im a fat prick.. and at the time.. had fairly long hair... your jetty was a local haunt of mine.. the rock reef around it holds some solid fish.. and just out from your jetty about 5 meters is a large round object with a big square cutout at the top, used to jig softplastics over the hole and get slaughtered by the monster batfish in there

Hello Oneputt
Recently I noticed that you sold sigma 12-24 , your new toy now is 10-20, would you care to share some opinions about those two lens .I want to get a wide angle lens for my age old S2 after the holliday. Thank spada
Hi Spada - to be honest both lens optically appear to be very good. The only reason for the change was the difference in the physical size of the lens. THe 12-24 is a big lens, and I found the very convex nature of it unsettling. I simply could not fit all of the lens that I wanted in my bag, now I can

The reason he does not show the house is it is a cardboard box in the park.
Cameras are kept in his high security shopping trolly. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hey John, great shot and I'm glad you like the lens ![]() cheers doug

NOT AT THIS RATE I WON'T:-)
I always think of the John Lithgow line from the terrible Stallone movie "Cliffhanger" "So you want to kill me? Get in the queue!" PS Trivia; Sylvester Stalone so is scared of heights the movie was shot and edited so he was never more than 6 ft off the ground. the only time he was on a mountain was for the publicity shot when the photographer persuaded him to be dropped on a pinnacle by helicopter. He was roped into place and secured by about 6 climbers.
